Bye FoodPanda Mart!!! Because of RM 10.89 (USD 2.64)


Today is a beautiful gloomy day (18/4/21), and also the last day for the promo code (Jimart50). So, as a filial son, I ordered 2 campbell soups and 1dental care for my old baby girl as above, with RM 10.89 (USD 2.64). But, then everything gone bad......

Everything was very nice until you see the picture below, on what I received (RIGHT) and what supposed to be sent (LEFT):



Yeah, they sent the wrong items to my family in Ipoh in a lousy packaging, yet, the wrongs items resembled what I ordered...with similar prices and shapes (which I have checked online). I mean, how would my parents noticed those are the wrong items in the delivery packaging unless they are alert enough to open the package and check the items (which is not common in delivery). Immediately, I contacted the foodpanda apps' help centre. The guy seemed to be helpful at first. Well, he sounded very professional and nice >>>> (sounded). Next he threw this statement at me?


Are you kidding me? Because I cancelled multiple times on foodpanda apps, that's why I cannot get refunded nor get my items replaced? Because I am cheapskate to use your promo code, this is what I deserved? This is Malaysia mentality, always blame on the consumers, instead of sellers. Come on, I am not promoting cash is king, but as a consumer, we have our rights to seek compensations when we are being mistreated in anyway. Now the main two points:

1) I made the correct payments

2) I made the correct items selections


Yet, now I am blamed because I cancelled the orders before multiple times (in which the accusations were untrue and framing). Please check my account above, I have used foodpanda two times, including this time. So far, I have not cancelled anything on purpose, nor any delivery unless needed to. So, this also means that their customer services are not very competent in framing people as well. And after 30 min, they me the s*** below with an none-reply email: 



My bff asked me to escalate the case again, but this time they just gave fake template reply that they would check. After 5 days, they closed the case (as resolved). 



So, in the future events, please be aware that, purchasing with foodpanda, you are bound the following possibilities and terms:

1) When you ordered item A, they might give you Item B, and you cannot complain about it

2) When you complained, they would not give a f*** even it was their fault at the 1st place. No replacement nor compensation...... 


Verdicts:

1) I have un-installed foodpanda

2) I have submitted all my claims and information to https://e-aduan.kpdnhep.gov.my/kepenggunaan


Whether the complaint successful or not, does not matter. What's mattered to me are I am able to share awareness to people regarding consumerism and how some online merchants tend to arm-wrest us into accepting their faults.
