It was the first time that my parents requested something! Yes, "thanks" to Axian, they wanted to try the prawn noodle near Pasar Seni. Since it was introduced on national TV, we presumed it should be not bad! Do check my facebook album for more awesome images ! [

Yes, Axian's banner was basically like the living spokesperson at this hidden restaurant. Despite its seclusion, as you could see, many people still managed to find this place! Indeed, something was special about this restaurant, its old and nostalgic feeling that kept on attracting people to come here.
For contact details of Sangkee Prawn Noodle, you can refer to the image above!
The restaurant was featured numerous times in famous newspaper! Since, there were 4 persons, we decided to order two dishes!
No.1: Their Wat Tan Hor (滑旦河)was a bit disappointing. The issue was the kuetiew was a bit unevenly cooked. Some were not thoroughly goreng (raw), and others were a bit hangus (toasted). Given this dish, my parents also agreed that some Ipoh stalls could do a lot better than this !
No.2: Of course, the main dish famed from this restaurant was its Prawn Noodle (生虾面). The gravy and the noodle were matched! A triumph in this case !
We ordered about 4 big prawns (大头虾)for this dish, which we were a bit dumb actually! Since the prawns were weighed and charged accordingly, we could have order 2 prawns and split them! (Oh yeah, ipohboy never deny that he is a miser!)
Anyhow, the prawns were fresh and juicy big! In term of tastes, it was undeniably good. But we kinda got a shock when the bill came! Perhaps, this would our first and last visit for a very long long long long time! Actually, I checked the reviews afterwards, a lot of people complained about the price. Again, it is always up to customers to ask, but the bosses should also try to remind us on this!
Just make a guess and scroll down for the answer!!!!!!!! Anyhow, I am going to blog about another more awesome and more affordable prawn noodles soon !
