Legendary Cowan Street Beansprout Chicken | 高温街芽菜鸡 @ Ipoh [Non-Halal]

Ever since the attack by keyboard warriors on the “ Hishiko Woo Summoned Deity Issue ”, my will to blog has been rekindled and thanks to the virality of the post, it reached around 800 views in 4 days. It might not be a huge deal for you, because 800 views are like peanuts on social media like Facebook, Instagram and especially TikTok. But for a dying blogging culture, it is considered another humble milestone for my underrated small bloggie. JoJo Little Kitchen (Pan Mee), 早早板面专卖店 @ SS2

Foodie Ipohboy is back again! Not that I won't hit hard at gym or exercise, but my appetite is just remarkably huge! The only soft spot in me, is most probably foodie! Anyway, today, I am gonna tell an old story on a well-known noodle shop in Malaysia, JoJo Little Kitchen (Pan Mee), 早早板面专卖店 @ SS2.

SS2 is a place of food heaven. One of the most visited noodle shops in SS2 is still JoJo. For starter, the price is reasonable and the food is simply nice. There are currently more than 10 outlets in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, therefore, you can see how famous this franchise is. However, I was sniffing around to find out the origin of the shop, yet, not much info at all on who is the boss and which outlet was the origin. Anyhow, one thing I love about Jojo, is its menu, because it provides pictures and prices, with clear descriptions. And, you can choose the type of noodles, either to be thick, thin or hand-tore, for panmee option. This is especially convenient for the elderly. hahahaha, like me!

Of course, this was the 1st time my parents visited this shop. So, we ordered the specialty, panmee. As you can, the soup-based panmee with thick noodle was quite nice for my taste. I further ordered a milk tea to compliment the panmee. Indeed I am a fatty Ipoh boy!

As for parents, both of them ordered the dry noodle. However, the sauce that day was a bit salty with the minced pork for their tastes though. Anyhow, given the Q-ness of the noodles, they still praised the panmee. So, do let me know your review, whether it is up to your level?

  1. For me it's a bit pricey la but can eat lo. It depends on outlet. There was once ate in an outlet...haiyo...the pan mee only a few strands. Another outlet pulak 1 bowl can share with 2 person.

That's the issue with quality control lo~ That's why these outlets must try to maintain the same quality across.

So far, this SS2 shop still ok ^^
